CHURCH
Welcome to St. Stephens-Bethlehem United Church of Christ! We are a welcoming, energetic, and eclectic group of Christians meeting at the crossroads of Western New York just outside of the city of Buffalo. Our history goes back to the mid-1800s and five separate churches that have combined to form a unique congregation.
THE FAITH & JOY FOOD PANTRY AND FOOD RESCUE
St. Stephens-Bethlehem is the proud sponser of the Faith & Joy Food Pantry, a 501(c)(3) which provides dozens of families each week with groceries and other essentials. The Faith & Joy Food Pantry was founded in the basement of the church in 2020 by Sue Lyons-Minnoe, and still operates here today.
The Food Pantry is open on Tuesdays from 1:00pm-5:00pm and on Sundays from 1:00pm-3:00pm.

SSBUCC and Faith & Joy also work in conjunction on a Food Rescue Hub, which takes in and redistrubutes reclaimed food to local Food Pantries throughout WNY.
CONGREGATIONAL CARE TEAM
In the early Christian communities, care-giving was the responsibility of everyone in the community, not just one designated person.
Following this example, the St. Stephens-Bethlehem United Church of Christ's Congregational Care Team will fulfill the care needs of our faith community at all times and for all situations.
